It has been reported that US X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger was held at gunpoint whilst filming her latest music video for single, Try With Me.
According to The Sun, Nicole’s 4×4 was surrounded by a group of balaclava-clad men with machine guns as she set off to her video shoot in the Xilitla rainforest on route through the drug-ridden mountains of Mexico.
The men had apparently ripped apart Scherzinger’s bullet proof vehicle and was only saved when the local police force arrived on scene to diffuse the situation. The X-Factor judge was not travelling alone as she had been travelling with her choreographer Brian Friedman and members of her security team.
A friend of Nicole has spoken on behalf of the Poison hit maker as she was too shaken up to offer her own account.
“Nicole and everyone in the car were terrified. There was lots of screaming and shouting. They thought their time might be up. There were around a dozen men with their faces covered, pointing guns at the three cars in her fleet. A load more men were in the bushes at the side of the road pointing guns, too. The group knew the dangers, which is why they had a bullet-proof car and security, But no one expected that.”
Scherzinger’s choreographer Brian Friedman has since confirmed all reports. “We were held at gunpoint – people next to our cars. There were M16s and Berettas. Nicole cursed me with this trip. It was the craziest adventure ever.”
