Songwriter Sues Producers Of B.o.B’s “Airplanes”

The production duo behind B.o.Bs biggest song to date are in hot water after a third songwriter has revealed she is suing.

Christine Dominguez has filed a law suit against the duo of Kinetics and One Love over the song Airplanes after claiming she had helped write the song and didn’t receive compensation. Reports from AllHipHop have stated that Dominguez claims she helped significantly throughout the production process of the number one hit and contributed to large portions of the songs melody.
Dominguez explained that the other producers had made contact with her about the song back in 2008 and credited her with another song which came out a year later, however she was snubbed when authorisation for B.o.B’s Airplanes was released.

Although B.o.B is not officially named in the law suit, Dominguez is suing the producers for unfair competition, unjust enrichment, copyright infringement and failure to account for revenues derived from sampling or other use of the song.
