Saturday 18 February was the funeral of  Whitney Houston, the 48-year-old superstar Soul singer who tragically passed away 7 days earlier.

Although it was an invite only funeral, for benefit of Houston’s millions of fans worldwide, the funeral was broadcasted through several media outlets courtesy of the Associated Press. 24 hours later, Houstons family forced all the outlets who streamed the “Home Going” ceremony to pull the footage.

A representative told TMZ.com that the Houston family are now licensing the funeral footage to several media outlets and are charging “customary fees” to “benefit” Houston’s first and only child 18 year old Bobbi Kristina Houston.
